ABOUT
I am a local business owner, resident of Strathcona County Ward 8 and a candidate for Councillor in the upcoming Municipal Election. I am determined to bring better communication between council and residents in Strathcona County.
Over the past 18 years, my husband and I have raised our three children in Regency Park and run a Print Shop in Sherwood Park. We understand how important the business community is to Strathcona County. I joined Locally Owned Expedia Cruises as a Vacation Consultant in 2019. I am also an active community supporter, having served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Saffron Centre and volunteer for school parent councils, Ismaili Muslim community and as a host on local Radio Station SoundSugarRadio. Additionally, I am a Festival Place supporter and have been a backstage hand in my childrens’ performances with Festival Players Productions and am a strong proponent of The Arts.
WHY YOUR VOTE COUNTS
Residents deserve better accountability.
In my experience, Candidates seeking election at all levels of Government will knock on your door, put signs everywhere and then become invisible when elected. This upsets me and I want to be as visible as possible. We are responsible for our County. Vote effectively on Election Day so we can all work together for a better future to make Strathcona County the Best Place to Live in Canada.
